This is big big news!
I’ve been honored by Directives West as one of their favorite LA Stylesetters this season! And with that they’ve asked me and two other very stylish fashion colleagues (Hellin Kay of Champagne & Heels and Erin Weinger of StyleSectionLA) to join in on the LA Fashion Week fun by styling looks for their First.LA runway show. The best part is that I get to choose one of my favorite LA designers and it’s DOLAN!! I seriously love this collection. It’s effortless chic. It’s casual luxury. It’s comfy and sexy all at the same time. Plus a fun tidbit is that everything they design and ship is made in LA! Very few brands can say that, so I’m proud to honor a brand that is representin’ the city I love.
Now if you’ve been with me on all of my adventures, even back to my days as the LA Woman’s Style Examiner a.k.a Your Editor-in-Chic , you’d know that I’ve been covering the Directives West First.LA runway show since it’s debut a year and a half ago. (And yes, I even have video!!) .
What I love about Directives West is that their sole focus west coast directional trend forcasting. And for us who love LA and all the incredible fashion and style it has to offer this company gets right to the heart of the up and coming that is all west coast. And with that, I’m just tremendously honored to be recognized by them as an LA stylesetter and I will do my best to uphold that standing. No matter how much of a tornado my bedroom looks after attempting to get dressed everyday.
